I accidentally subscribed to Rolling Stone magazine. I know what you’re thinking, how does one accidentally subscribe to a magazine? Well, it was one of those magazine-school-fundraising things. I wrote down the wrong code. I intended to subscribe to an anal-retentive financial magazine, but got this hipster-too cool magazine instead.

Is the world trying to tell me I need to subdue my inner-Geekiness?

Anyway, in case you didn’t already know, Rolling Stone is the size of a regular magazine now. (Not the oversized version it once was.) And, like Playboy, while the magazine is supposed to be primarily about one thing, it does a great job with articles about world issues. It also has pretty pictures.

That’s my summary of Rolling Stone. Clearly, I’m not much of a music/pop culture buff.

I’m thrilled to announce that the Atlanta Writers Club meeting this Saturday is featuring bestselling author BERNICE MCFADDEN! (And still astounded that when I asked her to come. She said YES!) I can’t wait to get my autographed copy of Glorious!

If you live in the Atlanta area, come join is for the meeting. You can attend up to two meetings of the Atlanta Writers Club without becoming a member. And you don’t have to be a writer– anyone who loves to read is welcome to join. Details of our meeting time and location are on the club website.
