Falling into Georgia


I’m often surprised at how many people from the North assume that we don’t have the change of seasons in the South. No, you don’t get (much) snow, ice, or bitterly cold temperatures. But in Georgia, we do have quite distinct seasons. Autumn, in my opinion, is the most beautiful of them all. This is what you see when you step outside my house.

 

 

 

 

And then, of course, the element of surprise. Yet another gardenia makes its presence known. In mid-November.
